This is a great year for striped bass fishing ! I have been nailing larger than normal sized stripers for this time of year. Last night fishing resulted live lining bunkers & eels helped in taking down twin 61 pound striped bass outside of New haven habor !2 Great sized Bass. Note: A 72 plus pound striper was taken last week some where in the West Brook Ct. area. Once again this a very productive striped bass year! Catching huge cows caught in the swallow waters. These twin 61 pound bass caught in the swallows ! Taken on the out going tide in 6 to 8 feet of water ! Night bass fishing has been just great !
