Monster Bluefish!

The large blues have returned. The Bob Weir party had blues up to 14 pounds on Saturday's AM trip. Tackle busting fish with at times, all 5 anglers fighting fish.
All on jigs. Fast and furious action for all.

BLUEFISH TACKLE BUSTERS!

Petey Pete and his crew from Verizon Engineering jigged up 18 tackle busting blues on a 4 hour trip on Tuesday afternoon. Fish were all in the 10 to 12 pound range. There were some tired but happy fisherman.
As our second in command Gene Brennan likes to say "It's a great day when there is blood on the deck and it isn't ours."

2012 season is in full swing. Have been trolling up striped bass and some blues.
The party from "Indeed" in Stamford caught and released 20 blues and a striper on a 4 hour trip.

Bluefish jigging

Jigging on the reefs outside of Stamford has been very produtive of late. The Tom K. party ended the day with 38 fish, releasing 18 to swim another day. Also some small stripers have been in the mix. All under sized fish released of course. Plenty of time and good weather left in the season, so come on out and join the fun.

IRENE

We are happy to report that the Deborah Ann IV withstood the rath of Irene just fine.
Home office power did not fair as well. Computer and phone answering machines were down for 4 days. Sorry for any inconvience to those who may have tried to contact us.
All is up and running again, along with the bluefish. Fishing continues to be good in spite of the weather. Give us a call and come out and join the fun. Some weekend dates are available. 203 792-2277.

Psychic Fisherman

The Verizon engineering group trip boated large blues up to 12 pounds and the discovery of a hidden talent of one of their members. During a lull in the action,
Kevin, AKA the "I Man" pointed to the two trolling rods and said "these are both going to get hit". Within less then a minute both rods were hooked up and yielded large blues, scary! He will now be also known as the Psychic Fisherman. Needless to say he was hired on to ride on all future trips.

BLUEFISH BLITZ

Bluefish all around for the Craig S. party on Thursday's twilight trip.
19 fish up to 9.5 pounds. Good time was had by all.

STRIPER TIME!!

Fished the West end of the Sound off Rye on Saturday and Sunday.
Nice mixed bag of Stripers and blues both days.
Had plenty of action on the troll with at one point all (3) rods hit at once, and landed all (3) fish.
Now would be the time for all you striper fisherman out there. Give us a call.
